This explains what we do with your information when you order from us. We ask for as little as we can, and we do not sell it.

Your name, delivery address, phone number and email address, what you ordered, and the messages you send us. If you pay by card in future, the payment provider handles the card details — they never reach us.

Why we collect it

To pack your order, deliver it, take payment, answer your questions, and keep the accounting records UAE law requires.

Who sees it

The people packing your order, the driver delivering it, and — when card payment is live — our payment provider. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to remember your basket and your saved items. Turning them off in your browser will stop the basket working.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for [NUMBER] years to meet UAE tax and accounting rules. Anything else is deleted when we no longer need it.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to hello@chaouenmarket.ae and we will answer within 30 days.
