These terms cover every order placed on this website. Placing an order means you accept them.

Who we are

Chaouen Market is a Moroccan grocery and homeware shop with two branches in the UAE — Shabiya 11 in Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain. Trade licence [LICENCE NUMBER], issued by [LICENSING AUTHORITY]. Tax registration number [TRN].

Orders

An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it by email or WhatsApp. If an item turns out to be unavailable we will contact you and either substitute it with your agreement or remove it and adjust the total.

Prices

Prices are in UAE dirhams and include VAT at 5% where it applies. Fresh and weighed goods may vary slightly in weight; the price charged is the price shown at checkout.

Payment

We currently accept cash on delivery. Card payment will be added once our payment provider is live.

Delivery

Delivery times, areas and charges are set out in our Delivery policy. Times are estimates, not guarantees.

Cancelling

You may cancel any order before it leaves the shop at no cost. Once it is with the driver, our Returns policy applies.

Our liability

We are responsible for goods arriving as described and in good condition. We are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen. Nothing here limits any right you have under UAE consumer protection law.
